With over 3o years of experience in corporate finance, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table, having navigated complex mergers and acquisitions, as well as private placements of debt and equity capital. As the founder of Ballard Canyon, my unique perspective on lower middle-market advisory comes from both my extensive background as an advisor and my hands-on experience as an investor. Over the years, I have advised or invested in more than 100 companies, providing a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by businesses in this space.
My professional network is broad and includes strong, enduring relationships with key players in the financial community, particularly with private equity groups, banks, and other capital providers. Before founding Ballard Canyon, I spent 15 years in senior roles at Cerberus Capital Management and Houlihan Lokey. My career also includes positions at ING Equity Partners, a New York-based private equity firm, and in the leveraged finance group at Continental Bank. Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of serving on the boards of directors and advisory boards for numerous companies across a wide range of industries, including business services, software, media and entertainment, manufacturing, and homebuilding.
I hold degrees from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Anderson School at UCLA.
